Book Review - American Patriots

Book Summary:

American Patriots, is a book written by Rick Santorum, it covers the stories of ordinary, regular American's and their role in our history.

My Review:

My opinion of this book, is hard written.  I am not a fan of the author and found this book very hard to read. I love history but maybe like my high school history teacher said you want to feel like you were there not like you are reading an account of it.  The people this book covered for the most part I had never heard of which did lead it's hand to keeping my interest but also had my mind wandering wondering more about the people.  Wanting to see pictures of them, wondering if other books/publications covered them.  For the history buff that likes short stories this might be a good read, however for me it was painful, long and very worded.
