Have you heard of 5 Minute Friday? Neither had I until I was looking through my blog following and a fellow blogger mentioned it. Now I have been having a writers block of sorts lately so this sounds perfect. She gives you the topic and you write without editing or overanalyzing for 5 minutes straight. Well let's give this a try...
Wow dance, not sure how I really feel about this topic I love to dance around my living room while cleaning, cooking or whatever else I might be doing in the privacy of my own home. However don't get me out in public because I am definately not as carefree, I worry I will make a fool of myself which I am sure my husband would say is true! The last dance I remember loving doing was dancing with my husband almost 3 years ago at our wedding reception. Our reception was not formal it was fun and relaxed just the way we wanted it there was no formal cake cutting, son-mother dance, daugther-father dance, garter toss or anythign else like that. We spent the time we had hanging out with our friends and family thanking them for joining in our celebration and just having a good time. But I had asked the DJ at some point in time during the night to play our song. You will laugh later but Shane and I picked this song for our song when we first began dating almost 12 years ago, it was the perfect song, now times have changed and my husband has calmed down a little but this song still brings a smile to my face. I love it. So that is my dance info. Hope you enjoyed it and you enjoy our song.

I am looking forward to so much giving our girls their own rooms, they have always shared a room so I am looking forward to and dreading this bittersweet moment as it will be sad for momma as they are just getting so big and growing so quickly, I am also looking forward to a mini vaca with my husband this summer when we head up to Big Sky to work the race but with no kiddos in tow it will be a little retreat for us. Another vaca this summer is our now annual trip to Pipestone with friends, the girls have been talking about this since last summer when we were on our way home from the 1st annual trip, they love hanging out with their friends and riding their dirt bikes and just relaxing, it will be wonderful.
So many things to look forward to!!

Being a teacher. I wish I would have not stayed here for a boy (no that boy was not my husband) and would have gone off to college and gotten my teacher certificate. I know I can still go back and get it, but it will be harder now. My dream job ever since the 3rd grade has been to be a teacher, thankfully I get to volunteer in the girls' classrooms. Volunteering for now will be as close as I get maybe one day I will be able to work part-time and substitute teach!!

My Garage for sure!! Although it has been a process and it is not finished I know for sure one of the best things of this year is going to be the day we move everything out to our garage and the girls into their own rooms. Oh yeah I am definately having a party to celebrate!!

A difficult time in my life was watching my grandma suffer from Alzheimer's. She was an amazing woman, strong and determined in all she did. She was in the Army and raised three kids. She was stern but kind. And when she loved you it was with her whole heart no matter how you treated her. Watching her slowly die was the worst thing in the world, I remember when I was younger going to her house and bird watching she loved birds and poetry and she shared those loves with my mom and then with me. She had such a sweet soul. My girls never got to know her and she never got to know them as they were two when she passed away and her memory had been robbed long before that. I know she is watching over them from Heaven and it shows in little things especially watching my girls sit and stay silent while watching birds.
Love you Grandma

And in no particular order either. I love getting new clothes and shoes although as many moms will attest I don't get new very often and I have a terrible time getting rid of clothes maybe because it takes me so long to get new. I collect memories every minute I get a chance. My maternal grandmother died of Alzheimer's and it is my fear that I shall also get this terrible debilitating disease but whether I do or I don't I am collecting every memory I can until my brain can no longer hold them all.
