So reading my Facebook feed this morning a friend shared this link To Parents of Small Children Let Me Be The One Who Says It Out Loud. Please take the time to go read this post it is amazing and every parent should read it, the ones who think they can do it all, the ones who are feeling lost and overwhelmed. It is AMAZING!
I read it and instantly added this blog to my Bloglovin feed I love the honesty and even better there aren't many guys out there that blog and it is refreshing. I can put this into context in so many other things but this morning it made me remember that I am not supermom, I don't even want to be. I just want to be me. A daughter, friend, wife, mother, and sister. This was a great post and every parent should read it mom or dad.
Ramblings of a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend. Writings to remind me of memories; mostly good, a few hard, but all honest.

Angelman's Syndrome
If you read my blog you might have caught my post More Like You, it has a song that was written about Angelman's kids, they are amazing and I should know because my niece has Angelman's Syndrome, yep she really is an angel. Well my sister sent me this link this morning and I wanted to share it with all of you. These kids are amazing and I want to bring more awareness to this syndrome. My niece isn't walking just yet but I am 100% sure she will be one day soon and I can't wait for the day she is walking with my mom home from school. My mom currently walks over and picks up my kids and my nephew will be making that trek in a couple of years and one day Em will be doing it also it will bring a smile to my face every time I see it. Look at this little boy go AMAZING!!

7 Screws & 1 Rod
No that isn't what I have loose although it feels like it these past couple of days. That title refers to the new hardware my hubby is sporting in his leg.
Last Saturday so yes a week ago hubby was in California. He and his business partner went down there for suspension school and on the way home were planning on riding and camping out at tracks. That adventure ended on Saturday as Shane was taking it easy going over a tabletop trying to stay safe he was turned sideways in the air by a gust of wind causing him to land on top of the tabletop and bounce. The first bounce made his foot come off the peg and the second bounce was his foot hitting the ground first. A forty five degree break in one bone along with a crack and a break of the other bone.
He took a trip to the hospital via ambulance in California. Stayed in the hospital until 7 pm and then signed a ton of waivers got a splint cast and took a 20 hour car ride home. A trip rob the doctor and surgery was scheduled for Thursday. He laid at home in pain that entire time because my hubby has a pain tolerance that is off the charts. But surgery Thursday lasted 4 hours along with 3 hours in recovery and he has new hardware.
It has been a stressful week and that is just being honest my house looks like I never clean it and I have a mountain of laundry almost to the top of the washing machine. I need a drink and a nap but even with all of that I am glad he wanted to come home he wanted me to be able to help take care of him he wanted to see his girls so very badly and of course his friends and family. I am so happy he made the decision to come home it has been a bumpy one but the sun is starting to shine we will get to the end soon.
Thanks for all the well wishes, prayers, and thoughts we appreciate them.

Brave
I am linking up with Lisa over at http://lisajobaker.com/ for her wonderful Five Minute Friday.
So here we go ... Word is BRAVE
Start
I think it is so brave when a mother gives up her child for adoption. I cannot say I could do that I carried my babies for 34 weeks and I will admit when they were born I had a hard time sharing them with anyone. Family and friends would come to visit and yes I wanted them to share in our joy I just didn't want to share them holding my babies. I wanted all the cuddles and loves for myself. I learned quickly that I was outnumbered and I learned that my babies had enough love to go around and that they knew the people that were their for them and would love them all. I look at mothers that give their babies up for adoption and think "you are so brave and selfless" it is amazing to me. It is one of the hardest decisions anyone could ever make and from talking to some birth moms one of the decisions that they have never forgot. Birth moms give up their babies for a multitude of reasons but the main reason is love. And they are so brave for doing so for knowing that yes they will be able to love their baby but wanting so much more for them.
Stop
A note to this post if you don't agree with me that is ok but please remember that this is a family blog and I do not need a lecture or rude comments .
What do you think of when you hear the word BRAVE? Please make a post and link up with Five Minute Friday.
